It's Called Mom Dedication....

When you're out there freezing everything right off your body!!!!

We had a baseball game last night.  It's actually the first weekday game we have been able to play since all the others have been rained out.  Now don't get me wrong, I love little league and I love watching the Baseball Stud play.  But there are some games where it is so cold outside that it feels not worth it.

Last night was one of those nights.  Thankfully for me, I have an awesome team Managers Wife who not only brought me HOT Starbucks but a blanket too.  And this game was worth it because we WON, not that it wouldn't have been worth it if we had lost!!!! :)

The boys played so good together.  Even 2 of the boys who haven't hit the ball yet both got the bat on the ball.  It was so much fun to see all the other boys so excited for those two.  I swear I'm not biased at all, BUT we have an amazing team.  Our boys are so dedicated to lifting each other up and encouraging each other that sometimes you forget they are only 10, 11 and 12yr olds.  We have an amazing coaching staff too.  These men are some of the best positive male role models our boys can have.  And for some of the boys that don't exactly have that at home, they revel in it every chance they get.  That I believe is what little league is all about!!!

So the Baseball Stud did awesome hitting, catching, shortstop, first base and pitching 3 up and 3 down in the last inning.  I was a dummy and forgot my camera at home.  But best you believe I will have it our game on Saturday.  It's a BIG game for us playing an undefeated team in our league.  I truly hope that the boys keep their encouragement and great attitudes all the way into Saturday.....
